Welcome to the home of historical riding in Britain.

The Early Riding Group is a collective of friends who enjoy
recreating equestrian skills from past ages.

We endeavour to use horses of the correct size for each
period, the correct tack and the very best clothing and
equipment.

We hope this site encourages others and fires their imagination.
